This site was created and is being maintained by someone with Neurofibromatosis for the purpose of connecting with others who also have Neurofibromatosis. I want to create a site where people feel like they belong and they can become a part of the community and help others by sharing their experiences and offering advice and comfort.

I also want to create a community where others can find the resources they need to create their own websites and share their stories with the world. If we want to increase the chances that researchers and doctors will find treatments and a cure for this horrible disease, we need to make sure that EVERYONE knows about Neurofibromatosis. One of the best ways to do this is to saturate the internet with websites, personal experiences and information about Neurofibromatosis. That way, when someone searches for it, they'll find lots of information and realize that something needs to be done. As this site grows, I will be providing links and information to help others find their place on the internet.
